Some exciting new artistic developments are occurring in Sandy Springs because of the efforts of a non-profit organization called Art Sandy Springs (ARTSS). Formed by a group of local business people, financiers, doctors, lawmakers, teachers and artists, the mission of ARTSS is to help join all segments of the community together to make fine arts a focus of daily life and to enhance the quality of life in Sandy Springs. Sponsored events are intended to bring the arts of music, theater, literature, architecture and landscaping into the everyday lives of people who live and work in Sandy Springs.
