Nightlife in Sandy Springs explodes with potential for exciting fun!

One of the most popular night spots in Sandy Springs is The Punchline, which is one of the oldest comedy clubs in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. More than 3,000 comedians, including many nationally known stars, have performed here and entertained over a million customers. The Punchline is located at 280 Hilderbrand Dr. in the Balconies Shopping Center. For information about their current schedule of performers, call (404) 252-5233. Another popular night spot is The Line at 285, a sports bar and grill that has 120 televisions featuring sports events, and pool tables for late night fun. The menu includes New York steaks, Maryland style crab cakes, balsamic glazed salmon, and almond encrusted Tilapia. The Line at 285 is located at 5525 Interstate N. Parkway in Sandy Springs and their phone number is (770) 952-0001. For people who enjoy fine dining accompanied by live music, Cafe 290 has been providing mainstream, contemporary and funk jazz bands for over 25 years along with steaks, seafood, chicken and pasta dishes. Every Sunday night, they have a spontaneous jam session often attended by well known jazz musicians.

There are many public music events in Sandy Springs for people to enjoy

Sponsored by the City of Sandy Springs, Sandy Springs Society, the Fulton County Arts Council, and many other civic organizations and business owners who support the community, Concert by the Springs presents an annual series of free outdoor concerts that are open to the public. For the last 12 years, country, rock, blues, bluegrass, gospel, swing and jazz artists have been entertaining people on Sunday evenings throughout the summer on the Sandy Springs Society’s Entertainment Lawn at Heritage Green, 6110 Bluestone Road. Another popular public event is the annual Sandy Springs Movies by Moonlight presented on the beautifully terraced lawn of Sandy Springs United Methodist Church’s Hitson Activity Center. Family oriented movies are shown on a giant 45-foot screen while food is available at various concessions. Local entertainers perform prior to each movie so people bring their lawn chairs, blankets and picnic baskets early to obtain good seating for the shows that begin at dusk. Just a few minutes drive from Sandy Springs is the Chastain Park Amphitheatre, an outdoor stage nestled within the trees of Chastain Park where popular performers entertain people in an intimate and natural setting.
