The City of Sandy Springs contains 12 public parks with a total of 260 acres of land that are available to residents for recreational purposes. Three of the parks contain recreational facilities such as tennis courts, indoor basketball courts and a gymnasium. Adult sports programs sponsored by the City include many of the same activities provided for young people, plus volleyball, tennis, cardio tennis, belly dancing, Yoga and Pilates.
