You don’t have to go far in Sandy Springs to enjoy north Georgia’s beautiful fall colors. Now that the weather has cooled off there are signs everywhere that point to autumn and the approaching holidays.
In Heritage park, the original Sandy spring is surrounded by vibrant reds and yellows. The Marsh creek rain garden even has a bit of color. The brightest colors seem to have passed at Morgan Falls overlook park, but there are still pops of color, like the lone ginkgo tree that is putting on quite a show next to the playground. Chances are you can simply drive around your neighborhood to enjoy a gorgeous display of autumn’s colors.
