Three pop stars to headline Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center 2022-23 season

Three pop stars will headline the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center 2022-23 season.

They include 1980s pop musician Christopher Cross, classic rock band Kansas, and singer/pianist Michael Feinstein. All will perform in the Byers Theatre of the complex at the City Springs civic center at 1 Galambos Way.

Cross will perform Aug. 12. The Grammy-winner’s hits include “Sailing,” “Ride Like the Wind,” “Never Be the Same,” and “Arthur’s Theme (Best That You Can Do).” Tickets are $55, $65 and $75 (plus fees), with a $200 VIP package including merchandise available for a limited time.

Kansas will perform Sept. 30. The band’s hits include “Carry On Wayward Son” and “Dust in the Wind.” Tickets are $55, $75 and $95 (plus fees).

Feinstein will perform Feb. 5, 2023. He is known for archiving and performing the loose collection of popular songs and show tunes known as the “Great American Songbook.” In the local show, he will perform the “American Jewish Songbook” in a show presented by the Jewish cultural events series Neranenah. The show is a reschedule of a performance originally planned for January of this year. Tickets are $44, $59 and $74 (plus fees).
