Glen Errol s a prestigious residential neighborhood in Sandy Springs just inside of the I-285 perimeter. The area includes homes along Glen Errol Road NW, the Glen Errol subdivision, and other subdivisions nearby. Many of the properties along Glen Errol Rd feature enormous homes on expansive lots that could easily be described as estates. The surrounding subdivisions are made up of large single family homes. Many feature large lots on winding streets.
You will find two unique schools near Glen Errol. The Springmont School on Long Island Drive was Atlanta’s first Montessori school. The Sandy Springs campus of the Tabula Rasa language academy is on Riverside Drive.

Glen Errol is between Mount Vernon Highway and Long Island Drive, south of I-285.
What we Love
Glen Errol offers large-scale homes in a central location between Sandy Springs and Atlanta. Chastain Park and Buckhead are a few miles south, and the City Springs district is around the corner to the north. Glen Errol’s location to the west of Roswell Road makes traffic a little less daunting as it is closer to the I-285/GA400 interchange.
What We Don't
There are not a lot of amenities in Glen Errol. Even the closest grocery stores are a couple of miles outside of the neighborhood. The neighborhood streets are quiet and comfortable, but plan on driving to get to restaurants, shopping, and amenities.
