Winterthur is a unique enclave on the west side of Sandy Springs between Northside Dr/ Heards Ferry Rd and the Chattahoochee River. The lots here range from large to enormous, with many homes nestled right along the river. The homes are large and beautiful in many different styles, but you won’t see many of them as you drive through the neighborhood. The homes are set back from the road on their huge lots so that you can’t see most of them from the road. The homes you CAN see are absolutely gorgeous.

There is an annual HOA fee that mainly covers maintenance of the common areas, a small community park, and two tennis courts. There is no community pool, since many of the homes have a private pool.

Location

Winterthur is located on the western border of Sandy Springs along the Chattahoochee River, just north of I-285. The neighborhood can only be accessed via Winterthur Way off of Northside Drive.

We love the scale and the style of the homes in Winterthur. This is no cookie-cutter neighborhood! Each home feels customized and finely crafted.

What We Don't

Northside Drive allows easy access to I-285 from Winterthur, but the neighborhood is a few miles from shopping and dining in the central Sandy Springs business district.
